UOL – The University Of Liverpool
Founded in 1881, the University of Liverpool (UOL) is a principal centre of excellence in many disciplines, including medicine. The Department of Molecular and Clinical Pharmacology sits within the Institute of Translational Medicine. The Department established significant research programmes in nanomedicine, strong local links to the Department of Chemistry, and extremely strong European and international collaborations.
Recent cross-faculty research and development have seen antiretroviral nanomedicines through formulation development, preclinical evaluation, scaled GMP manufacture and first-in-human pharmacokinetic evaluation.
